Most of the masonry work on our unit is done, all of the insulation is in and we're waiting on an inspection from Carmel on 11/5 before drywall can start. We expect drywall to start on Thursday 11/6. They say it will take about 7 working days to complete drywall (including dry time) and then the sub-floors get screwed and sanded.
It sounds like they will be hanging the drywall, and waiting for it to dry, the whole time we're out of town. Right when we get back, they should be wrapping up on the floor.
We also got some preliminary info on a closing date. They've targeted early to mid January for closing. Evidently they schedule closing for two weeks after the projected completion date, so by Christmas they should be fairly close and hopefully working on the punch list. Their fiscal year ends in March, so there won't be a rush to get it done by 1/1/09 (which is a good thing).
Here's a picture of the exterior with the bricks on it (and if you look closely, you'll see the masons put the wrong address brick on our unit - we're 626, not 622 - they reversed the order on all of the units).
